BEEBE WOODS
One of Falmouth’s largest conservation
areas, Beebe Woods features trails,
ponds and other fascinating points of
interest. Once part of a 700-acre estate
owned by the Beebe family of Boston,
the woods are now a popular recreation
area for locals, visitors, dog-walkers and
equestrians. Favorite sites here include
the Punch Bowl (a kettle hole pond),
Ice House Pond and the massive Sliding
Rock. Take the trail to Peterson Farm
and explore meandering meadows.
