BEACH RULES & REGULATIONS
• Watercraft, fising, and scuba diving are not permitted in the swim area.
• Open fires are not permitted on any public beach. A picnic and barbecue area is available at
Goodwill Park (Grew’s Pond).
• Parking lts close at 9:00PM. Please refer to parking signage.
• Ball playing, kite flying, and beach games are permitted when space is allows at the lifeguards'
discretion. Beach Department staff may terminate these same activities when they are deemed
unsafe to the public.
• Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on beaches. FALMOUTH BEACHES ARE SMOKE-FREE.
• Dogs are not allowed on Falmouth’s beaches between May 1 and September 30. For the remainder of the year, leashed dogs are allowed on the beaches. Please clean up after your dog.
• Beach Parking Permit Stickers for residents/taxpayers may be purchased online beginning in
January. In-person sales for all parking permit stickers are available at 56 Surf Drive on weekends starting the Saturday before Memorial Day and daily from late June through Labor Day.
