A family friendly free event with science demos, hands-on activities, and crafts
for kids. Engage with people from science organizations and learn about the

ANNUAL DAVID'S OLD SILVER SWIM
Join us for David’s Old Silver Swim to benefit Compassionate Care ALS and provide
support to people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The swim will be
held on August 9 at 10:30AM on beautiful Old Silver Beach at the Sea Crest Beach
Resort in Falmouth, MA. Choose from a one mile or half-mile competitive race, or
a fun half-mile non-competitive swim. Register for the swim at www.ccals.org/
davidsoldsilverswim or in person the day of the race.

34th ANNUAL FALMOUTH WALK
The picturesque 5K course will once again flow through the charming streets of
Falmouth along the bustling Falmouth Harbor and past the storefronts of Main
Street to the finish at St. Barnabas Church by the Town Green. If you’re walking
with us in-person, be sure to stick around after the Walk as the fun continues with
great food, a spectacular raffle, and live auction! Registration opens in early Spring
at www.falmouthwalk.org.

ASICS FALMOUTH ROAD RACE
The Falmouth Road Race was established in 1973 and has become one of the
premier running events of the summer season. Each year the race draws an
international field of Olympians, elite, and recreational runners to enjoy the
iconic 7-mile seaside course. The nonprofit Falmouth Road Race organization is
committed to promoting health and fitness through community programs and
philanthropic giving. 2025 marks the 53rd running of the ASICS Falmouth Road
Race. The race takes place on Sunday, August 17th, and the weekend also includes a
Health & Fitness Expo, the Falmouth Track Festival with elite mile races under the
lights on Friday night, and the SBLI Family Fun Run on Saturday morning. Join the

BANDS FOR BADGES
Bands for Badges, Inc. has been founded to provide help by sponsoring concerts
to raise money for Firefighters, Police Officers, EMS Personnel, and Military in
need. We are proud to announce our sixth annual concert on August 30, 2025,
at The Cape Cod Fairgrounds. This is a family-friendly event featuring various
bands, food, face painting, a bouncy house, and more! 100% of the profits will
